Report on Focus

Our focus group was held on the 7th of November at Ingufield Ad, agency. All our members attended, Dale did the camera work Daniel got the gay men to attend and i did the paperwork mag covers for them to observe and comment, a table of contents, notes for our moderator. Another mutual friend got the gay women. The focus went very well. Dale transferred the recording to DVD so we could write our report. No problems with my group members thus far.

Preperation Focus Group

So i started sending emails to my group members so that we can we can decide on key aspects of this task. So far we discussed who we want our facilitator to be (Darcell Choy) but we still have to ask her, Danielle is doing that. Also Dale is trying to locate a place to carry out our focus group. I am working on the Agenda. I am hoping we could have this done in the first, second (for the latest) week of Nov, so we could the paper working order. I asked Rondell to help me put together some Magazine Covers to use in our Focus group.

Second Assignment

In our second assignment we delt with paperwork. I did the contracts for our freelancers, constructed permission forms and described the functions that each member of our production should carry out.

Information was not too hard to obtain.

My other Group Member Daniel worked on the contact book along with dale.

Everything came together in time but i still was not please with our final product. More work should have been done on the report of validity.

My group and i finished our #1 Assignment with some eletronical problems, never the less it was completed. I am confident that it is good, all our ideas were put down and presented. Moving on….

We have almost completed our 1st assignment. Putting together the table of contents was nt so hard, it is just like a normal magazine. A little research had to be done since no group member is gay. We had to find out stuff like what they would be looking for in this type of magazine. Which helped us establish our table of contents.

So in establishing this project my group an i have decided to go print. We gonna create a magazine yes a magazine, not just any but a Gay magazine yes a Gay magazine. I know, im excited to. Its gonna be about beauty tips, love tips, entertainment and night life. We in the process of organizing content. We have discussed Page design, photographers and writers. Let the research beginnnnnnnn…

Production Ideas
